The encyclopedia says "Television (TV) is a widely used telecommunication medium for sending (broadcasting) and receiving moving images, either monochromatic ("black and white") or color, usually accompanied by sound."
By the late 1920s, the television was created but only near 1928, when Philo Farnsworth made the world's first working television system with electronic scanning of both the pickup and display devices, which he first demonstrated to news media on 1928-09-01, televising a motion picture film.
Today, the Televisions are the most present electronic device on each house around the world. Each house have at least 1 Television. Today the television are Hi-tech! With Plasma and LCD Television, the world watch the born of a new technology, the HDTV (High Definition Television).
I Like the LCD Televisions, and it have their Advantages and Disadvantages and i will try show them here in this LCD Television Buyer Guide.
Advantages:
- Higher native resolution than plasma TVs. This means better support for HDTV
- Small flat screens. If you want a smaller screen to use in the kitchen, an LCD TV is your best bet. Plasma TVs are 32" and up.
- Speakers included. Unlike many plasma TVs, lots of LCD TVs come with incorporated speakers for easy plug-n-play setup.
- Price, price, price. LCDs are more expensive than plasmas andrear projection televisions for the screens of the same size. Priceshave already come down somewhat and are still falling, but at presentyou get more screen for the money with a plasma or rear.
- Dark colors aren't as dark. While some of the highest qualityLCD screens display black well, many have a hard time getting as darkas they should. For movie watching, plasma may be a better bet.
- Viewing angle issues. When watching an LCD television, peopleseated far to the left or right might not see the image properly. Theseproblems are corrected in the newest LCD screens, which have a widerviewing angle, but it is not yet equal to plasmas.
Think well when chose your new Television, the highest Technologies are expensive, but sometimes is better buy goods to don't need change for a good time :D
